Jute fiber boards in the company The company has 3 production lines of Jute fiber boards, which can produce 3000 tons of Jute fiber boards every year. Jute fiber board can be produced according to customers¡¯ requirement, but the length of Jute fiber board is no more than 3500 mm, and the width is no more than 2500 mm. The thickness range is from 2.0 mm to 25.0 mm and gram weight is from 800 g/©O to 9000 g/©O.
The rigidity of the automotive interior decoration parts is an essential index of the Jute fiber board after manufacturing it into automotive interior decoration parts. The rigidity of the automotive interior decoration parts made from Jute fiber board is as same as that of ABS board.
The tensile property of the Jute fiber board depends on the ratio of raw materials, single fiber strength, processing technic and so on. Through the practice and exploration, the company guarantees the content of polypropylene fiber in Jute fiber board is no less than the limit value. We chose the raw material with strict standard by controlling the thickness, length and single fiber strength of the fiber in the raw material to ensure the excellent tensile properties. We have provide our customers Jute fiber boards with stretch of 680 mm .The maximum stretch of Jute fiber board in our company is 800 mm at present. The company has explored a set of effective technological processes to make sure the consistence of the size of the molds and the size of the automotive interior decoration parts after mold pressing. These processes ensure the dimensional stability of the molds and the automotive interior decoration parts. (1)The Shrinkage rate in the process of Jute fiber boards is only 0.9% in the company, which greatly improve the matching attribute of the raw materials and the molds. So when making the mold, the company can produce it directly according to the size provided by the Automobile factory without considering the effect of the Shrinkage rate of the materials on the size of the molds, which can reduce the workload of the molds design. (2)Apart from the molds, the parts not only have good dimension stability but also a clear ridge and no spring back. Also, it won¡¯t have any deformation.
(3)Under the weather of 110 ¡æ and -40 ¡æ, the dimensional change rate about the size of the parts is less than 0.3% and the parts have no dilatancy or shrinkage crack, keeping a good condition of the surface. Flame retardant property is the safety requirement of the automotive interior decoration parts. So, in order to keep a reliable flame retardant property, the company automobilery on with the work as follows: (1) The company requests the suppliers of polypropylene fiber to add smokeless and environmental friendly flame retardant to improve the flame-retardant effect. (2) We have determined ingredient proportions of the polypropylene fiber through a lot of production practice, which can ensure a PP membrane to keep an excellent flame retardant.
(3)The company tries their best to fix the fiberboard and polypropylene fiber evenly to ensure each hemp fiber would form a PP membrane after the melting of the polypropylene fiber. The company has invested superior equipment to make the composition fiber mix more uniformly. With the PP, the surface of the fiber is more likely to form a surface film, which makes the burning rate of the Jute fiber board less than 30 mm/min. The GB8410-2006 request the burning rate less than 100 mm/min and most Automobile factory request it less than70 mm/min. Tested in a one-year experiment of a foreign company, the Jute fiber board product in our company has outstanding anti-mildew performance and no mildew occurs. The fibers in Jute fiber board can absorb the moisture in the air easily and its water absorption rate is 16%. While the water absorption rate of Polypropylene fibers is only 0.2%, which means they hardly absorb the water. We make use of the low water absorption rate of polypropylene fiber to have it fully mixed with fibers. With that method, after Jute fiber board is shaped, the polypropylene fiber will melt and form a membrane structure on the surface of the fiber, which cut off the contact between the fibers and water to improve the disadvantages of the hemp fiberboard that it often absorbs water. The degree of the improvement of the hygroscopicity of the fibers depends on two factors: firstly, it depends on the amount of anti-burning polypropylene fiber; secondly, it depends on the degree of uniformity of the anti-burning polypropylene fiber and jute fiber.
If we reduce the amount of the anti-burning polypropylene fibers, they would be not enough to cover the surface of jute fiber and there is the posibility of absorbing moisture and mildew. Even if the amount is engough, the surface of jute fiber can not be coated completely by polypropylene fiber, which would also lead to mildew. Uniformity of mixing could be achieved as long as we input some effective mixing equipment and control it with reasonable means of production.
Inspected by a third-party organization, the odor of Jute fiber board can be tolerated in experimental conditions of 70 ¡æ¡Á24h. The level of odor of our products is equal to the 6 stage odor level which the automakers automobilery out.

The product application In saloon automobile, Jute fiber boards can be made into the ceilings, coat racks, sunroof shade panels and suitcase decorations, which have been widely used in Buick, Cadillac, Ford, Chery and so on. In truck, Jute fiber boards can be used to make the Skeletons of the instrument panels, ceilings, interior side boards and heating-insulation pads of engines. They have been widely used in National heavy truck, Shanxi automotive group, Dongfeng, Foton and JAC. In passenger automobile, Jute fiber boards can be made into the front ceilings, back ceilings, middle ceilings, ducts of the air conditioners, and interior side board, which have been widely used in Huanghai bus£¬Zhongtong bus, JAC bus and Jinlong bus.
